Tonight I made this glow jar:
I had seen the idea on pinterest, and since Whit is out of town I figured it would be a fun photography experiment.
I also tried photographing fireflies, but that one didn't work out so much. I caught about 8 flies and they never lit up once I had them in the jar ready to photograph! Dang bugs.
How did you do this?! I also saw this on pinterest, but they had no idea how it was actually made. Did you break glowsticks and splatter their glow all over the inside of the jar? Is it that simple?!

This is a super late answer, but since people are still finding this post, I will answer. Yes, all you do is crack open a glow stick (or 3) and splatter it around inside the jar! Make sure you look away when you do it...you don't want that stuff going in your eyes.
